You’ll notice I added some shows between upfronts and now. You’ll also notice I didn’t include shows I need to catch up on. So that’s The Good Guys, The Mentalist, and Lie to Me for shows that have no more than one full season unseen by moi. I’m pretty sure I’m giving up on Private Practice and I keep wavering on Weeds (still need to finish season 5, but I’m in no real hurry even though season 6 has begun). I have no idea about what I’m gonna do about Fringe or Flashpoint. May or may not finish season 3 of Gossip Girl.

And it seems I need to do some updating of the categories, so blog ya later! I think I’ll do a poll next.

Upfronts 2010-11: ABC

Hi Again, Old Chum

  • Castle (am pleased, but not surprised)
  • Modern Family (once I catch up and/or have my “rewatch” of season 1)
  • Private Practice (if I catch up. This won’t be a priority watch.)

So Long Farewell

  • Happy Town (darn it, but I think I’ve heard there’s resolution)
  • Ugly Betty (we knew this was ending, but still, I’ll miss everyone)
  • FlashForward (guess there’s no real rush to finish season 1 now)
  • The Forgotten (well, I’ll just continue to enjoy the rest of what I’ll get before I leave for Australia)

Hello Hello

  • No Ordinary Family (could be a hit or a miss, but I like to think of it as a hit with Greg Berlanti behind it)
  • Body of Proof (female lead is a draw, what can I say)
  • Off the Map (I’m in just because Caroline Dhavernas has work again)
  • The Whole Truth (the unique spin on the legal drama is drawing me in, but I can tell already that the editing will probably make or break this show for me. Also I’m guessing this pickup means Numb3rs is gone)
  • Mr. Sunshine (Andrea Anders will draw me in and I’m hearing a lot of good buzz, shame it’s midseason)

State of the TVphile’s Watching

Okay, I thought I’d attempt a list of my current shows just for my sanity of keeping track and shows that I hope to catch up on once I’m back in the States. Also so I can get around to creating categories for all these shows.

The list gets long, obvs.
